I'm Sharleen, a natural-born Visual Merchandiser with a deep passion for creativity. Little Collections, born in 2014, started as a creative outlet – a place to craft and dream. Fast forward 9 years, and it's evolved into designing exquisite products for you and your loved ones.
It all began with crafting retro upholstered chairs for kids shortly after my daughter, Evie, arrived. Three kids later, and the juggle of parenthood, I took a pause (three kids under 4 will do that to you!). You can have it all, just not all at once, they say. My purpose? To infuse the world with beauty through practical, beautiful creations for children. It took plenty of self-discovery, soul-searching, and one giant leap of faith to get here.
My journey led me back to my childhood, where Santa gifted me a pony-shaped sewing machine at the age of 7. I'd design, create, and sew doll clothes with my mum, it brought immense joy. During the 2020 Covid Lockdown, I had the time to observe how my girls played involving open spaces, intricate setups so I crafted some soft furnishings on my trusty sewing machine to aid their boundless imaginations through play.
My three precious muses, Evie, Livinia, and Avira, inspired me to create a diverse range of doll accessories that encourage imagination and equality. After playtime, everything finds its home in a dedicated suitcase for easy storage and transport.
Each piece is designed with little hands and boundless imaginations in mind, infused with a touch of nostalgia. My hope? These creations bring your child endless hours of play, creativity, and become cherished heirlooms.
